Other components are used in fiber optic networks today, some of which are planer Lightwave circuit (PLC) splitters that are very efficient in splitting optical signals to many ports and with little signal loss. Owing to the commitment of OYI International, Ltd to innovation, our PLC splitters will continue to meet the emerging demands of high-density populated areas and the increasing IoT. More specifically, as 5G networks are established and smart cities are being developed, the need for effective PLC splitters will be similarly felt. OYI's R&D objectives are to improve the splitting ratios, reduce insertion loss, and increase reliability to make their PLC splitters suitable for large-scale centralized networks.
