Packing And Mark
OYI cables are coiled on bakelite, wooden, or ironwood drums. During transportation, the right tools should be used to avoid damaging the package and to handle them with ease. Cables should be protected from moisture, kept away from high temperatures and fire sparks, protected from over-bending and crushing, and protected from mechanical stress and damage. It is not allowed to have two lengths of cable in one drum, and both ends should be sealed. The two ends should be packed inside the drum, and a reserve length of cable not less than 3 meters should be provided.

Insert the optical fiber into the PBT loose tube, fill the loose tube with waterproof ointment. The center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforced core, and the gap is filled with waterproof ointment. The loose tube (and filler) is twisted around the center to strengthen the core, forming a compact and circular cable core. A layer of protective material is extruded outside the cable core, and glass yarn is placed outside the protective tube as a rodent proof material. The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes (and the fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. Then, the core is wrapped with swelling tape longitudinally. After part of the cable, accompanied by the stranded wires as the supporting part, is completed, it is covered with a PE sheath to form a figure-8 structure.

The box is made of high-strength PC, ABS plastic alloy injection molding, which provides good sealing and aging resistance. The OYI-FATC 16A optical terminal box has an inner design with a single-layer structure, divided into the distribution line area, outdoor cable insertion, fiber splicing tray, and FTTH drop optical cable storage. The fiber optical lines are very clear, making it convenient to operate and maintain. There are 4 cable holes under the box that can accommodate 4 outdoor optical cables for direct or different junctions,and it can also accommodate 16 FTTH drop optical cables for end connections. The fiber splicing tray uses a flip form and can be configured with 72 cores capacity specifications to accommodate the box’s expansion needs.
