Applications

Data communications networks.

Storage area network.

Fiber channel.

FTTx system wide area network.

Test instruments.

CATV networks.

Widely used in FTTH access network.

Operations

Peel the cable, remove the outer and inner housing, as well as any loose tube, and wash off the filling gel, leaving 1.1 to 1.6m of fiber and 20 to 40mm of steel core.

Attach the cable-pressing card to the cable, as well as the cable reinforce steel core.

Guide the fiber into the splicing and connecting tray, secure the heat-shrink tube and splicing tube to one of the connecting fibers. After splicing and connecting the fiber, move the heat-shrink tube and splicing tube and secure the stainless (or quartz) reinforce core member, ensuring that the connecting point is in the middle of the housing pipe. Heat the pipe to fuse the two together. Place the protected joint into the fiber-splicing tray. (One tray can accommodate 12-24 cores)

Lay the remaining fiber evenly in the splicing and connecting tray, and secure the winding fiber with nylon ties. Use the trays from the bottom up. Once all the fibers have been connected, cover the top layer and secure it.

Position it and use the earth wire according to the project plan.

    • SC/APC SM 0.9mm Pigtail

      SC/APC SM 0.9mm Pigtail

Fiber optic pigtails provide a quick way to create communication devices in the field. They are designed, manufactured, and tested according to protocols and performance standards set by the industry, which will meet your most stringent mechanical and performance specifications.

A fiber optic pigtail is a length of fiber cable with only one connector fixed on one end. Depending on the transmission medium, it is divided into single mode and multi mode fiber optic pigtails; according to the connector structure type, it is divided into FC, SC, ST, MU, MTRJ, D4, E2000, LC, etc. according to the polished ceramic end-face, it is divided into PC, UPC, and APC.

Oyi can provide all kinds of optic fiber pigtail products; the transmission mode, optical cable type, and connector type can be arbitrarily matched. It has the advantages of stable transmission, high reliability, and customization, it is widely used in optical network scenarios such as central offices, FTTX, and LAN, etc.
